Square 9 Softworks is highlighting generative AI-powered document processing for Microsoft Dynamics, aiming to convert information from invoices, contracts, forms and other documents into structured business data. The company says its platform can route that information into Dynamics 365 Business Central and Dynamics GP, helping organizations automate operational workflows and make more use of their ERP investments.
Key takeaways
Square 9 plans to demonstrate how AI can extract information from complex documents and connect it to Microsoft Dynamics through no-code workflows. The company will present the capabilities at Community Summit in Nashville on October 13, 2026.
- The platform is designed to process documents without relying on traditional templates or manual data entry.
- Target workflows include accounts payable, order processing, contract management and vendor onboarding.
- Square 9 has scheduled two presentations and demonstrations at its Community Summit booth.
Turning documents into ERP-ready data
Many business processes begin with information outside an ERP, including supplier invoices, purchase orders, contracts, vendor forms and email. Square 9 says its platform captures this unstructured content, converts it into usable data and securely shares it with Dynamics and other business systems. The company cites an estimate that as much as 90% of critical operational data remains in unstructured formats.
The approach is intended to reduce repetitive entry and help organizations move information into operational workflows faster. Square 9 says its generative AI can handle complex and handwritten documents without depending on fixed templates, while no-code workflows connect extracted information to Dynamics 365 Business Central and Dynamics GP.
Why the data flow matters
ERP performance depends in part on the accuracy and timeliness of the information entering the system. Automating document capture may help teams reduce manual work and improve the flow of operational data, but organizations will still need to consider validation, access controls and integration design when deploying AI in business processes.
For enterprises using Microsoft platforms, document processing is also one part of a broader data strategy. Clean, governed information flowing from operational systems can support more reliable analytics and reporting in tools such as Power BI and Microsoft Fabric. That downstream data architecture is important for turning process automation into measurable business insight.
Community Summit demonstrations
Square 9 announced two live sessions at Community Summit in Nashville on October 13. A partner solution showcase, scheduled for 11 a.m. to noon at Delta Mezzanine 4, will demonstrate document processing and Dynamics workflows. A shorter presentation, “AI Isn’t Replacing Dynamics. It’s Making It Smarter,” is scheduled for 3 p.m. on the Legends Stage at booth 957.
The company also plans to demonstrate its Dynamics integration at booth 449 throughout the event. Square 9 President and CEO Stephen Young said the objective is to make information already present in business documents actionable within Dynamics, extending the value organizations get from their ERP systems.
